TOP PICK: ‘Real World/Road Rules Challenge: Cutthroat’ (10pm on MTV) **Season Premiere**

MTV is headed to Prague in the Czech Republic for the latest installment of “The Challenge.” This season, 30 fan favorites will compete in “Cutthroat,” a new cycle of competition where players will push themselves and each other past their breaking points. For the first time ever, three teams chosen by the players themselves will vie for half a million dollars in cash and prizes – the largest jackpot in “Challenge” history. With that much money at stake, old rivalries loom large and the drama in the house can take over on the battlefield. In “Cutthroat,” teams will battle each other in nine extreme challenges, leading up to a massive and grueling finale. After each challenge, one man and one woman from each losing team will go head to head in the dreaded Gulag, a torturous one-on-one battle arena.

SEASON PREMIERE:Steven Seagal Lawman‘ (10pm on A&E)

‘Steven Seagal Lawman’ returns to A&E for a second season, chronicling martial arts expert and international film star Steven Seagal’s extraordinary life in law enforcement. In the eight-episode season, Sheriff’s Deputy Seagal continues to patrol the streets of Jefferson Parrish, LA, in order to keep the peace and serve the community that he loves.

WATCH:Modern Family‘ (9pm ET on ABC)

An earthquake hits, leaving Claire stuck in the bathroom with the plumber, Manny experiencing an existential crisis while out with Jay, and Mitchell and Cameron digging themselves deeper into a lie when they use the quake to get out of a themed brunch party thrown by their friend, Pepper (guest star Nathan Lane).

DVR:South Park‘ (10pm on Comedy Central) **Season Premiere**

Cartman wants to race with the pros and he’s ready to do whatever it takes to make it happen. He’s afraid that no matter how hard he tries, he’ll never reach the level of the other NASCAR drivers. Working with Butters as his pit boss, Cartman pulls out all the stops to compete in the race of his life.

DVR:Law & Order: Los Angeles‘ (10pm ET on NBC)

When murderous cult member “Baby” Jane Lee Rayburn (guest star Nancy Youngblut) is found stabbed to death, Detectives Rex Winters and Tomas “TJ” Jaruszalski question multiple suspects, including the cult ringleader Denis Watson (guest star Michael Massee) and Jane’s former cellmate, Maura Dillon. However, the case cuts very close to home for Detective Winters when his wife Lori, a former Detective, is questioned.
