‘Glee’s Dianna Agron Up For ‘Spider-Man’s Love Interest

Now that Andrew Garfield of The Social Network has been cast as the new Peter Parker in the upcoming Spider-Man reboot, the field is wide open to cast his dueling love interests, aka Gwen Stacy and Mary Jane Watson, and it would seem director Marc Webb is looking at ‘Glee’ for possibilities.

Dianna Agron of ‘Glee’ is a new contender for the role of Gwen Stacy (presumably), says Deadline.com, alongside Mia Wasikowska of Alice in Wonderland and Georgina Haig of the Toronto Film Fest hit Wasted on the Young, while Emma Stone of Easy A and Dominique McElligott of Moon would seem to be vying to play MJ.

The presumption, of course, is that the blondes are going for Gwen and the redheads for Mary Jane, but that’s certainly not written in stone – especially considering that Sam Raimi pulled the switcheroo on that with Kirsten Dunst and Bryce Dallas Howard for the first trilogy.

‘Glee’ fans, would you like to see “Quinn” get tangled in Spider-Man’s web on the big screen?
