Bianna Golodryga and Peter Orzsag got married over the weekend in New York City.
The ‘GMA’ weekend anchor, 32, and the ex-White House Budget Chief, 41, held their wedding Saturday at Capitale in Manhattan, according to the New York Times.
The couple got engaged last December after meeting at the White House Correspondents Dinner in May 2009.
Golodryga was named the weekend co-anchor on ‘Good Morning America‘ in May. Orzsag is the former director of the Office of Management and Budget (he left the White House in July) and is now a columnist for the New York Times.
An ABC News spokesperson confirms to TV Newser that the newlyweds are on their honeymoon, and Golodryga will be back to work next week.
This is the first marriage for the bride and the second for the groom.
