The wedding bands of polygamist Kody Brown and his four wives—Meri, Christine, Janelle, and Robyn—might be replaced with handcuffs in the very near future, according to People.

The stars of TLC’s new show ‘Sister Wives’ are being investigated by Utah police for the possible criminal offense of felony bigamy. Police admit publicity for the show, which premiered Sunday night, sparked their interest in the case.

“I felt like the secretiveness of the society has been a little bit dangerous for the society as well as the public. This is part of our reason of essentially “coming out”…it’s a story that needs to be told,” said Brown in a conference call with reporters last week.

Hmmm…so who’s telling the truth? Looks like The Law might be our only hope for ever getting to the bottom of this real-life ‘Big Love’ situation.

And you thought you could do just about anything on reality TV.
