Comcast On Demand today premieres a trio of movies whose theatrical release dates were also on the same day, oddly enough. Amanda Seyfried’s Letters to Juliet, Queen Latifah’s Just Wright and Q’Orianka Kilcher’s Princess Ka’iulani. Also, if you’d like to learn more about how the U.S. economy sank so low, you can investigate the Jack Abramoff scandal with the documentary Casino Jack & The United States of Money. Take a closer look at these films below.

Just Wright
Queen Latifah stars as a physical therapist who is unlucky in love and caught in a sticky situation when Scott McKnight (Common), the star athlete she’s trying to rehabilitate from an injury, gets caught between her gold-digging friend (Paula Patton) and the growing bond he feels with her.

Letters to Juliet
Amanda Seyfried stars as a woman going on a pre-honeymoon with fiancee (Gael Garcia Bernal) to Verona, Italy and finds the wall where lovelorn women write letters to Shakespeare’s Juliet Capulet in search of metaphysical romantic advice from a fictional character who killed herself over a misunderstanding in her mid-teens. When she finds a note from fifty years ago stuck in the wall, she writes back and encourages the woman to seek true love – and that woman turns out to be Vanessa Redgrave, who comes to Italy instantly to take that advice, along with her attractive grandson (Chris Egan). And thus, the search for lost love begins, and the seeds of new love are formed.

Princess Ka’iulani
A Hawaiian princess (Q’Orianka Kilcher) escapes from the civil war to Victorian England, where she must learn how to fit in to a brand new society.

Casino Jack & The United States of Money
A documentary revealing the depths of uber-lobbyist Jack Abramoff and the massive bribery and corruption that fuels a lot of the wheeling and dealing in the United States Congress.
