Playing not just ‘Fringe‘s already engaging Walter but also his “other side” counterpart, dubbed “Walternate,” has proven twice as nice for series star John Noble.

“All the actors love it,” says Noble, who gets to “double” up along with the likes of Anna Torv (Olivia) and Lance Reddick (Broyles). “It’s a real kick!”

Of course, the big question as Fox’s ‘Fringe’ tees up its third season on September 23 is if and when our Walter and Peter (played by Joshua Jackson) will realize that the Olivia they’re currently hanging with is actually Agent Dunham’s alt-reality doppelganger.
