Raising money for “the troops” appears to be a noble cause here in America, that is of course, if you actually plan on giving that money to those men and women in the armed forces, something Michaele and Tareq Salahi allegedly didn’t realize.

The New York Post is reporting that the infamous “White House-crashers” recently held a private premiere party for Bravo’s ‘Real Housewives of D.C.‘ with all proceeds raised by the event promised to a charity group, Honor & Remember.

Honor & Remember representatives said that none of the 40 percent profit from the ‘Housewives’ party came through, because the party supposedly didn’t break even.

As far as the Salahi camp is concerned, neither Michaele or Tareq were hosting the event, rather they were mere guests, therefore not involved with the event’s dealings.

‘Real Housewife’ Starving for Attention?

Not a couple to be without controversy, along with the Honor & Remember claim, the Salahis were served with a court affidavit requiring them to appear in court and answer claims that they skipped out on a hefty PR firm tab for work done surrounding the Whoopi Goldberg ‘View’ scuffle.
