Has LeAnn Rimes lost her touch?

The pop-country starlet-actress, who performed Wednesday on ‘America’s Got Talent’ as this week’s celebrity musical act, raised eyebrows with a folksy-provocative bikini-clad version of her new cover of John Anderson’s ‘Swingin.’

Dressed in a two-piece retro bikini, Rimes, who has caught a bit of bad publicity over the past year and a half for leaving her husband Dean Sheremet for a married man, actor Eddie Cibrian, danced around the stage lazily while performing the song, which is on her 2010 CD, ‘Lady and Gentlemen.’ She also kicked a beach ball and the microphone stand.

It had the extra-loose choreography of Britney Spears’ 2007 MTV Video Music Awards disastrous ‘Gimme More’ performance, mixed with the 1960′s Americana vibe of Annette Funicello’s ‘Beach Party.’

After the performance, Rimes told ‘AGT’ host Nick Cannon–when asked for advice–about the importance of having creative blinders on: to block out what people might be thinking.

“Tune all the pressure out, that’s the key,” Rimes said. “You just have to tune everything out.”
