Romany Malco, 'No Ordinary Family' (ABC)
ABC’s ‘No Ordinary Family‘ hasn’t even premiered yet, and already it’s sparking up a mini ‘Weeds’ reunion for cast member Romany Malco.
Guesting on the soon-to-premiere action-dramedy will be Guillermo Diaz, who for newly two seasons on ‘Weeds‘ played Mexican drug kingpin Guillermo.
First Look, Two Takes: How Strong Is ‘No Ordinary Family’?
Malco had been an original ‘Weeds’ cast member, playing crop-keeper Conrad; he left the series at the end of Season 3. On ‘NOF,’ he costars as the best pal of Michael Chiklis‘ specially enabled (read: super-strong/-resilient) police sketch artist, Jim Powell.
‘Weeds’ Alexander Gould: Season 6 Is ‘A Whole Bunch Of Chaos’
Diaz will appear in the fourth episode as Detective Cordero, a tough-talking cop who dismisses mild-mannered Jim’s pursuit of a possible vigilante killer.
Malco shared on Twitter a photo of him with his fellow ‘Weeds’ alum, effusing, “This just happened!”
