Living in paradise isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.

Hawaii Five-O‘ star Scott Caan was injured last week on the set of the upcoming CBS series, according to the New York Post.

Caan suffered a serious knee injury while performing a stunt and was flown to a Los Angeles hospital, where he under went surgery for a torn ACL.

The bum leg might keep the avid surfer off the waves for a while, but it won’t affect production on the cops ‘n’ robbers in paradise action series, which films entirely on location in Hawaii.

“His injury will be noted in the story line,” a CBS spokesperson told The Post. “Partnering with someone like Steve McGarett, you’re bound to get a few bumps and bruises.”

The 33-year-old son of actor James Caan costars in the highly anticipated remake of the hit sixties show ‘Hawaii Five-O,’ along with Alex O’Loughlin (‘Moonlight‘), Daniel Dae Kim (‘Lost‘) and Grace Park (‘Battlestar Galactica’).

Caan plays Detective Danny ‘Danno’ Williams, the wise-cracking partner of O’Loughlin’s brooding Steve McGarrett, who will be saying the show’s famous line, “Book ‘em, Danno.”
