TOP PICK:Man Vs. Wild‘ (9pm on Discovery) *Season Premiere*

Survival expert and extreme adventurer Bear Grylls is back for seven all-new, heart-pounding episodes. In the continuation of the fifth season, Grylls travels to remote locales around the globe, including Australia’s northern territory, the Republic of Georgia’s Caucasus Mountains, a deserted island south of Papua New Guinea, and others, sharing invaluable survival strategies all along the way.

KEY EPISODE:Big Brother‘ (8pm ET on CBS)

Last season’s winner, Jordan, and her fellow Houseguest Jeff will make a surprise appearance in the house. Jordan and Jeff met inside the house last season and dated throughout the summer, establishing themselves as the house’s official “showmance.” Both are returning to the to host this week’s Power of Veto competition, titled “Lovers’ Lane.” In the competition, seven Houseguests will have 45-seconds to roll 16 bowling balls, hoping to strike down ten bowling pins that are stacked on top of each other. After each player bowled in a round, they will then challenge one of the other eligible Houseguests to knock down more pins. Will current showmance Rachel or Brendon win and pull themselves off the block?

‘LA Ink’ returns for a fourth season and after losing the last founding member of her shop, Corey Miller, Kat’s life is going full throttle: she’s writing her second book and expanding her shop with a new event space next door – all while still raising eyebrows on red carpets all over the world.
