Skeet Ulrich won’t have to work the L.A. beat alone after all.

Corey Stoll, who currently can be seen in the Angelina Jolie thriller ‘Salt,’ has joined the cast of NBC’s ‘Law & Order: Los Angeles‘ as the partner of Ulrich’s Detective Rex Winter.

Stoll will play Detective Tomas “TJ” Jaruszalski, who is described as “a confident Hollywood native” and “health nut,” says Deadline.com.

The casting of Stoll inflates the ‘LOLA’ ensemble to a grand total of three, with Alfred Molina tapped last week to play deputy D.A. Morales.

Stoll’s credits also include a short Season 4 arc on ‘NCIS,’ as Marty Quinn.

Briefly stymied by casting delays, ‘Law & Order: LA’ is expected to begin production on August 2, with an eye on a September 22 premiere. It will air Wednesdays at 10/9c, leading out of ‘Law & Order: SVU.’
