Fox is giving “Gleeks” something to tide them over until the series returns: the boys of ‘Glee‘ will be hosting Fox’s own ‘Teen Choice Awards 2010.’

Chris Colfer (“Kurt”), Kevin McHale (“Artie”), Cory Monteith (“Finn”) and Mark Salling (“Puck”) will host the 12th annual special when it airs Monday, August 9 at 8 p.m.

‘Glee’ was the highest-rated new scripted series of last season and is riding 19 Emmy nominations – including one for Colfer.

Their costar Jane Lynch, who plays the hilariously cruel cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester, is also scheduled to appear at the awards, which celebrates teen favorites in film, television, music, sports and fashion. The special will include performances by Katy Perry, Jason DeRulo and Travie McCoy featuring Bruno Mars along with appearances by ‘Twilight’ dudes Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson, the Kardashian sisters, Zachary Levi and some other people that the audience with scream and wail for then immediately tweet to their friends about.

Does the fact the ‘Glee’ men are hosting make you want to watch the ‘Teen Choice Awards’?
