TOP PICK:Mad Men‘ (Sunday at 10pm on AMC)

The back-to-back winner of the Best Drama Emmy has finally returned for a new season. After a year of waiting, we find out what’s going on with our favorite ’60s ad men and women. Will the fledgling company take off? Did Betty indeed get a divorce in Las Vegas? But first, let us take a moment and thank God that Joan is back where she belongs – running things in the office!

KEY EPISODE:Pillars Of The Earth‘ (Friday at 10pm on Starz)

‘The Pillars of the Earth’ is a sweeping epic of good and evil, treachery and intrigue, violence and beauty, a sensuous, spirited story set against a backdrop of war, religious strife and power struggles in 12th Century England. The eight-part Starz series is based on Ken Follett’s book, first published in 1989, whic has sold more than 14 million copies worldwide and been published in more than 30 languages. The $40 million series is directed by three-time DGA award-winner Sergio Mimica-Gezzan and was shot on location in Hungary and Austria with a star-studded cast including: Ian McShane (‘Deadwood’), Rufus Sewell and Matthew Macfadyen.

WATCH:Being Human‘ (Saturday at 10pm on BBC America)

The highly anticipated second season of ‘Being Human’ is here! Russell Tovey, Lenora Crichlow and Aidan Turner return as George, Annie and Mitchell, the three twenty-somethings trying to live as normally as possible despite being a werewolf, a vampire and a ghost in BBC America’s highly popular series.

DVR:My Boys‘ (Sunday at 10pm on TBS)

The beer will continue flowing at Crowley’s Tavern as the fourth season of TBS’ critically acclaimed sitcom ‘My Boys’ gets under way. The series stars Jordana Spiro as PJ Franklin, a 20-something sports columnist in Chicago. Co-starring as PJ’s mostly male group of close friends are Kyle Howard as boyfriend Bobby, Reid Scott as best friend Brendan, Michael Bunin as Kenny and Jamie Kaler as Mike.

DVR:Doctor Who‘ (Saturday at 9pm on BBC America)
