Life Unexpected‘ just might complicate a certain someone’s love life with the addition of former ‘Melrose Place‘ resident Shaun Sipos.

Sipos, who on ‘Melrose’ played well-heeled thief David, is joining The CW series in the recurring role of Eric, a new teacher at Westmonte High School, Fancast has learned exclusively.

Westmonte is the high school Lux (played by Brittany Robertson) attends, so if her and Eric’s paths should cross I am guesstimating the pretty student may find herself hot for the pretty new teacher. And we all know how that typically goes. (No really, we do: My eldest sister wound up marrying her high school history teacher. It’s not entirely as scandalous as it sounds. Or so I was always told.)

CW Fall Schedule Adds Two Shows, Moves Around Four

After ‘Melrose’ wrapped up its CW run, Sipos has shot a guest appearance for an April episode of ‘CSI.’ This October, he can be seen in the horror film ‘Disturbed,’ also starring (swoon) Moran Atias (‘Crash’) and Lauren Cohan (‘Supernatural’).

The CW’s ‘Life Unexpected’ premieres its second season on Tuesday, September 14, at 9/8c.
