Nearly every story about Lindsay Lohan‘s father could seemingly begin with the words, “Oh, Michael Lohan.” And such was the case on Friday, following a verbal faux pas the celebrity dad made while talking with Shepard Smith on Fox News.

Lohan: Sentence for Probation Violation is Harsh

“Don’t tell me how much time I spend helping my daughter or going out to eat dinner, or how much time I spend in the f–king gym,” Michael Lohan blurted to Smith after his recent behavior came under fire.

Lohan stopped by ‘Studio B’ to talk about the ongoing drama surrounding his daughter, but Smith quickly brought up word of Lohan’s actions directly following Lindsay’s court appearance that resulted in the actress getting sentenced to 90 days in jail.

“Are you kidding me? Give me a break,” Lohan defensively said to Smith after the Fox News host questioned why the father wasn’t putting as much energy into helping his daughter as he was living it up. “All of my effort is spent on trying to help my daughter.”

On a more sobering note, Lohan said that all of his daughter’s troubles “could end in death. If it was your kid, what would you do?”
