Skeet Ulrich, who played a sheriff on the cult hit ‘Jericho,’ will again don a badge as one of the leads on NBC’s new ‘Law & Order: Los Angeles‘ spin-off.

Specifically, Ulrich will be playing Detective Rex Winter, a Marine whose policing philosophy was shaped during the Rodney King riots – his second month on the job, says EW.com.
Winter also is married to his yet-to-be-cast former partner.
