Markedly less cabernet sauvignon should be consumed by the Walker family this coming season, as ‘Brothers & Sisters‘ continues to reign in its roll call.
With Balthazar Getty’s Tommy previously bumped down to recurring status and Rob Lowe’s Robert tragically killed off in last month’s season finale, the latest cast member to get hit with a status change is Emily VanCamp.
VanCamp is being switched to recurring status, says GiveMeMyRemote.com. Although her exact reduced episode count is TBD, it could tally as few as two – which certainly would suggest that the between-seasons “time jump” will not weigh well on Rebecca and Justin’s (Dave Annable) shaky union.
The news isn’t all bad for VanCamp, however. The lovely ‘Everwood‘ alum is currently filming a starring role in ‘Let Them Shine,’ a Hallmark TV-movie about a school teacher who must adjust her expectations when she is assigned to educate a multi-grade class of homeless youths, and in less-than-ideal environs.
The good news for ‘Brothers & Sisters’ fans, meanwhile, is that contrary to previous buzz, Calista Flockhart is expected to remain a series regular in Season 5, which will employ a “time jump” to fast-track storylines such as Kitty’s senatorial run.
