Summer, sun, sabotage!

Someone really will be bringing down the house when ‘Big Brother‘ meets ‘The Mole‘ this season on CBS’ house party.

Producers are introducing a new twist for the 12th installment of the reality show: ‘the Big Brother Saboteur.’

According to the release, “One Houseguest, known as the Big Brother Saboteur, will enter the house to play their own game, unbeknownst to their fellow competitors. The Saboteur’s mission will be to carry out viewer suggestions on how best to disrupt the lives of fellow players.”

New ‘Big Brother’ Cast Announced

The secret saboteur, aka America’s dastardly puppet, will remain unknown to the cast, but viewers will learn the person’s identity on the Thursday, July 15th episode.

“We’ve inserted a game piece into the show this season that will make life for the Houseguests harder than ever before,” says executive producer Allison Grodner in a statement. “This is a twist that will wreak havoc on the house and the audience will be a part of it.”

Hosted once again by Julie Chen, ‘BB’ will air three nights a week – on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.

‘Big Brother’ premieres Thursday, July 8, at 8 p.m./EST on CBS.
