Tori Spelling is spilling in a new interview about a “pretty surreal” experience she had, just in time for her new book release.

The actress recently spoke to Out magazine about being contacted by the late Farrah Fawcett from beyond the grave.

With the help of renowned psychic John Edward, Spelling ventured into the spirit world via a heavenly hotline on the phone: “He offered to do a reading with me and I was hoping I would talk to my dad,” Tori explains of the psychic connection. But rather than making contact with her father Aaron Spelling, Tori got in touch with one of his ‘Angels’ instead (Aaron Spelling produced ‘Charlie’s Angels,’ one of Fawcett’s iconic roles).

“She basically wanted me to give a message to [Fawcett’s son] Redmond and to her family, and she was doing these very specific call-outs for things that they would understand,” Spelling claims. Fawcett died last year at age 62 from a rare form of cancer and is survived by longtime companion Ryan O’Neal and their son Redmond.

How is it that Spelling became the chosen one to speak to Farrah? Maybe she was the only person attempting to contact the dead at the time, or, as Spelling puts it, “we were neighbors for years.”

More details on the bizarre encounter are revealed in Spelling’s newest book, ‘Uncharted TerriTORI.’

In other Tori stories, Spelling recently appeared on Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS-FM radio show and stated that all her former ‘Beverly Hills, 90210′ cast mates hate her.

Despite the family bliss portrayed on their reality show, ‘Tori and Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood,’ Spelling claims that after her marriage to Dean McDermott, her former costars deserted her (did she not get the hint?). She specifically targets new mom Tiffani Thiessen, alleging that she “doesn’t talk to me anymore.” In the end, however, Spelling admits it’s from her point of view: “It’s my perception, and nonetheless, it’s a fun story.”

That’s not the only skinny on the ex-’90210′-er. Tori also recently defended herself from criticism that she is “too thin.” The actress claims her bony frame is not the result of an eating disorder; it was from – wait for it – swine flu.

Surprised? Don’t worry, Spelling assures us she goes into more detail … in her book (hint hint).
