TOP PICK:Futurama‘ (10pm on Comedy Central)

Following in the footsteps of ‘Family Guy,’ the much beloved ‘Futurama’ has been resurrected and is back with all-new episodes! Celebrate with Fry, Leela, Bender and all your favorites.

Prepare to be transported to the year 3000 for the return of Fry, Bender, Leela and the usual cast of twelve-dimensional space monsters. Back by popular demand, Matt Groening and David X. Cohen’s brilliantly subversive animated sci-fi comedy ‘Futurama’ debuts its sixth season of 12 all-new half-hour episodes, kicking off with a special hour-long block of two back-to-back new episodes. The series also reaches a milestone on Thursday, September 2, when it celebrates its 100th episode.

KEY EPISODE:Rookie Blue‘ (9pm ET on ABC)

Missy Peregrym gets her own star vehicle in tonight’s series premiere. You might remember her from a little show called ‘Heroes’.

‘Rookie Blue’ is a fun, fresh, high-stakes drama with a twist of danger that follows the lives of five young, ambitious cops right out of the Academy. From their very first day on the job, these rookies are plunged into the world of big city policing, a world where even the smallest mistake can have life-or-death consequences and serious emotional fall-out.

WATCH:Boston Med‘ (10pm ET on ABC)

This is not your typical summer series, and it’s not ‘Grey’s Anatomy.’ Try a real-life, gritty look at three Boston hospitals.

Picking up where ‘Hopkins’ left off, ‘Boston Med’ travels to a city renowned for medical excellence and home to three superb American hospitals, Massachusetts General Hospital, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and Children’s Hospital. Over four months, ABC cameras had unparalleled access to hospital staffs and patients.

The family moves cross country in the season premiere. That’s a lotta car seats to pack!
