'Jersey' boys meet 'The Village Voice'

Jersey Shore‘ cast members Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino and Vinny Gaudagnino are on the cover of the latest ‘Village Voice.’

Specifically, they grace the newsweekly’s annual “Queer Issue” – an honor they frankly had no idea they had received.

“[They] will be shocked to see how the shot’s being used,” the New York Post reports. Says a source, “They didn’t know.”

A rep for the ‘Voice’ confirms for Fancast that “the Post story has it right” by claiming that the ‘Jersey’ boys would not have known which issue they’d be fronting.

Although the tanned-and-toned trio’s photo appears above the headline “The Guido Ideal” – which refers to an inside story about “gay Jersey guidos on the down-low” – the ‘Voice’ “is not saying the cover boys are gay, just that that they’re hot,” says a source.
