Valerie Bertinelli is already ‘Hot In Cleveland,’ and next may bring her undeniable appeal to the rest of America as the cohost of a new daytime talker.

The ‘One Day At a Time’ alumna recently shot a talk show pilot with Aussie personality Rove McManus, Variety reports. Said program is but the latest candidate to fill the void being left when CBS’ ‘As The World Turns’ signs off later this year.

Bertinelli is riding a high as of late, especially since her ‘Hot’ TV Land sitcom debuted to record ratings. Her talk show pilot, however, faces a wealth of competition.
