TOP PICK:The Tudors‘ (Sunday at 9pm on Showtime)

After four seasons, eight wives and countless mistresses, we’ve finally reached the end of the reign of King Henry VII. It’s been quite a ride!

In the series finale, Henry defeats one final political foe but faces mortality and the ghosts of his former queens, who appear for a final confrontation.

KEY EPISODE:The Gates‘ (Sunday at 10pm ET on ABC)

Vampires couldn’t be any hotter, but they’re not the only supernatural creatures you’ll find in this new series. This could just be a perfect summer guilty pleasure.

Nestled inside a private mountain community are The Gates. The image of perpetual suburban bliss, each street is lined with perfectly manicured homes protected by the massive iron gates, but a dark and delicious secret is buried just beneath the surface of this picturesque neighborhood.

WATCH:The Real L Word‘ (Sunday at 10pm on Showtime)

What do you get when you cross the scripted drama of the long-running Showtime hit ‘The L Word,’ with the (un?)scripted drama of ‘The Real Housewives’? This new series about some real-life lesbians living it up in LA.

This new reality show was inspired by the famed, long-running Showtime series ‘The L Word.’ Produced by the original producer Ilene Chaiken, and Magical Elves, this show will follow a group of real-life, hot and happening lesbians in their daily lives at work and play in Los Angeles.

DVR:Leverage‘ (Sunday at 9pm on TNT)

The con is on! See if you can keep up with these thieves with hearts of gold in the season premiere.

Television’s hottest team of con artists, grifters, hackers and thieves is back for a third season. Timothy Hutton, Gina Bellman, Christian Kane, Beth Riesgraf and Aldis Hodge star.

DVR:Scoundrels‘ (Sunday at 9pm ET on ABC)

Well you have to give ABC credit for trying this summer – they seem to be the one broadcast network cranking out new, scripted content for the loyal TV viewer. This new series stars Virginia Madsen and David James Elliott of ‘JAG’ fame.

A family of small-town criminals is shaken when their father is sentenced to a surprisingly long prison term, leaving mom to take care of the criminally enterprising brood. In an effort to keep her kids out of trouble, she decides it’s time for the family to go straight, despite their best efforts to maintain the status quo.
