Over the course of five hours, London’s abductor proceeded to rob him, hold him at gunpoint and force him to smoke “dope,” Palm Springs Police Department sergeant Steve Douglas told Radar Online.
“Jeremy said it was a terrorizing experience,” a source close to the actor tells Radar Online. “He spent hours thinking he was going to die and he did what he had to do not to end up shot or dead.”
The incident came just months after London admitted to having undergone rehab for a pain pill addiction. He also is in the midst of a divorce from his wife of three years, actress Melissa Cunningham, with whom he has a son named Lyrik.
Police have identified a suspect in the abduction and charged him with several felonies, including kidnapping for ransom with injury and strong arm robbery. The suspect, whose bail was set at north of a half million dollars, is due back in court on June 24.
In addition to his run as Neve Campbell’s ‘Party Of Five’ love interest, Griffin Holbrook, London’s credits include the role of ’7th Heaven’s Chandler Hampton.
