Bret Michaels will join Miley Cyrus on stage this Friday for her ‘Good Morning America‘ Summer Concert Series performance, ABC has announced.

The recuperating rocker (who was hospitalized in recent months with a brain hemorrhage and then a “warning stroke”) will perform with the teen queen “Every Rose Has a Thorn,” the Poison song Cyrus covers on her new album.

The ‘GMA” duet represents the first time Bret and Miley are performing the song live together.

To maximize the pop-culture overload of the outing, Kate Gosselin will accompany on drums while Charlie Sheen works the keyboards. (I kid!)

As part of the Summer Concert Series showcase, Cyrus will also perform solo, serving up her “Can’t Be Tamed” – her latest hit backed by a controversial video/promotional tour – and other songs.

Anyone in the NYC area hoping to catch Cyrus’ ‘GMA’ concert in person is instructed to arrive at Central Park’s Rumsey Playfield via the 72nd Street entrance on Fifth Avenue at 6 am EST.
