June is wedding season. It’s also a month that brings fresh episodes of History’s highest rated series, ‘Pawn Stars,’ back to the airwaves.

In case you’re not one of the five million (average) weekly viewers who tunes in to ‘Pawn Stars,’ the reality show loosely takes the conceit of PBS’ ‘Antiques Roadshow,’ and plops it down in a Vegas strip mall pawn shop owned and operated by the eccentric Harrison family (who, it’s worth noting, The New York Times recently dubbed ‘mercantile folk heroes’ due to their success).
