As fans mourn the passing of ‘Lost,’ one of the star’s of the late ABC drama is mourning the loss of his beloved pet.

Jorge Garcia has lost his Chihuahua Nunu, who was run over by a car and killed on Sunday.

Garcia revealed the sad news Monday on his blog, ‘Dispatches from the Island,’ where he frequently shared stories and photos of Nunu.

“It breaks my heart to tell you that yesterday as we were preparing to all go to the airport Nunu was struck by a car as she crossed the street,” Garcia wrote in a blog post titled ‘Nunu, the Greatest.’

“She died in my arms,” Garcia said.

Oh My Dear Losties, she died in his arms … that reminds me of Sawyer and Juliet, and Charlotte and Daniel, and Sun and Jin … that is as sad as some of the moments from the show. And don’t get me started on the final scene with Jack and Vincent.

Nunu will be buried at the Pet Garden at Valley of the Temples in Kaneohe, according to her owner, who played Hurley for the last six seasons on the hit show that filmed in Hawaii.

“Nunu hated the water so we couldn’t bring ourselves to having her ashes scattered in the ocean. Three months from now you’ll be able to find a bronze plaque inscribed with just her name there. If you’d like to leave a flower or a toy, I’m sure she’d love it.”
