Five extremely overweight youths are the subject of ‘Too Fat for 15: Fighting Back,’ a docuseries that just got a green light from Style Network.

A quartet of teenagers and one preteen will have cameras follow them as they enroll at Wellspring Academy, a weight-loss boarding school in North Carolina, says the Hollywood Reporter.

There, viewers will witness “the epic struggle of a courageous group… trying to lose weight,” says Style Network president Salaam Coleman Smith. “Their life-changing mental and physical transformation… puts a real face on the obesity epidemic threatening our young people.”

‘Too Fat for 15′ has its eye on an August debut.
