Now that’s a dirty, dead ringer!
Rob Lowe channels Brad Pitt for his three-episode arc on the upcoming fourth season of ‘Californication.’
Pitt’s scruffy, hot homeless man phase seems to be the inspiration for Lowe’s guest starring role as an “unpredictable mega-watt movie star ‘Eddie Nero,’ a contender to play Hank (series star David Duchovny) in the film version of his blockbuster novel,” according to the release.
Lowe dropped a hint about the juicy role on his Twitter feed, saying he plays “an insane Oscar winner.”
“Taking direction from Mr David Duchovny on #californication today. I’m playing an insane oscar winner. Too bad I don’t know any,” Lowe writes.
Other guest stars on tap when the Showtime series returns this summer include Carla Gugino as Hank’s lawyer and Zoe Kravitz as a friend of Becca, who joins an all-girl band.
Lowe recently left ABC’s ‘Brothers & Sisters‘ and currently appears on NBC’s ‘Parks and Recreation.’
