Former ‘Bachelor‘ and ‘Bachelorette‘ star Jen Schefft is expecting her first child, she exclusively tells the new Us Weekly (on newsstands now).

The Chicago PR exec, 33, who wed trader Joe Waterman last May, is due in November.

“I was shocked. I thought it would take more time,” Schefft gushes to Us Weekly. “I took three tests because I didn’t believe it was true!”

How did she break the news to her husband? “I put the tests in a Ziploc bag and rushed to the train station to pick him up after work,” she tells Us Weekly. “I handed him the baggie, and he gave me a high-five! He hugged me too, of course, but we were so taken off guard.”

Though she doesn’t know the baby’s gender yet, “I don’t know why, but I feel like it’s going to be a girl,” Schefft tells Us Weekly. “I already have, like, 10 names, but I’m not telling!”
