Daria

‘Beavis and Butthead,’ MTV’s animated series about a pair of numbskull heavy-metal aficionados, included a number of memorable supporting characters. But only one scored a spinoff of her own: Daria Morgendorffer (voice of Tracy Grandstaff), a brainy, cynical alterna-teen whose eponymous series ‘Daria‘ lasted five seasons on MTV. With its blunt humor, abundant subtext, and stellar voice cast, the show captured middle-class suburban teen angst in all its specificity, even as it commented on the self-imposed outsider status of its protagonist. Special features include the Music Video: Mystik Spiral Music Video “Freakin’ Friends,” Daria Day intros, and never before-seen Mystik Sprial spin-off script. The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air

In the fifth season of ‘The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air,’ Will meets Lisa – and before you can say “Go slow, bro,” he’s in love, engaged and standing before the minister with 50 pounds of iced shrimp melting in the banquet hall. All that romance must be contagious, because Carlton finds his soul sister through online dating. (Unfortunately, that’s only half right. It’s Hilary.) And there’s a lot more than love going on as Will grapples with a big orange whale, a mobster, a bear, Jay Leno, Lisa’s cantankerous dad and in one of the series’ most memorable episodes, a bullet with his name on it. With this 4-disc set, you are cordially invited to all 25 laugh-out-loud, love-happy Season 5 Episodes of the hit, hilarious show that gave sitcoms street smarts. Buy the Season 5 DVD right here.

thirtysomething

By Season 3 of ‘thirtysomething,’ the show about the inner workings of a group of close friends and married couples had really come into its own as a series. The conflicts existed on a completely new level that allowed the fans to associate with what was happening on their TVs. Whether it was Michael and Hope trying to keep their fire lit, or a transformed Elliot caring for his cancer-stricken wife Nancy, the lives of these characters had come a long way in just a couple of seasons, much like what was happening in real life.
