Just days after giving the green light to J.J. Abrams’ ‘Undercovers’ spy drama, NBC has picked up three more new series for its 2010-11 schedule.

‘The Event’
NBC Calls It:
“A high-octane conspiracy thriller” that follows Sean Walker (Jason Ritter, ‘The Class’), a regular Joe who investigates the vanishing of his fiancée. In doing so, he unwittingly starts to expose the biggest cover-up in U.S. history. Also starring Blair Underwood as President of the United States, Laura Innes (‘ER’) as a mystery woman, and Scott Patterson (‘Gilmore Girls’) as Sean’s father-in-law, Zeljko Ivanek (‘Damages’) and Ian Anthony Dale.

‘Outsourced’
NBC Calls It:
“A hilarious culture clash” in which Todd Dempsy (Off-Broadway star Ben Rappaport) is transferred to India to oversee the outsourced operations center of the “all-American” Mid America Novelties company. Transplanted, Todd realizes that his staff needs a crash course in all things American.
