Kate Gosselin has turned in her dancing shoes for running shoes.
“Ohhhh suddenly I missed EVERYTHING about dancing — not only the friends I have made and stay in touch with almost daily, but also learning the steps and even the fear of sudden death that the dance floor caused me! Gulp! Swallow the nostalgia … Okay, all better … ”
Kate goes on to reveal how she’s keeping her new ‘Dancing’ bod in fine form.
“I have resumed running daily and have smiled as I’ve reunited with an “old” friend, my treadmill. (Sad, I realize, but I LOVE running, and due to time constraints took a break during the two months of dance rehearsal.) As always, I feel right where I belong as I once again “run” the daily routine for and with the kids.”
Kate and Cara, one half of her nine-year-old twin daughters, participated in the New Balance – Girls on the Run – 5K marathon this past Saturday in Lancaster, PA.
“Without a doubt, ‘Dancing with the Stars’ was a life-changing experience,” Kate goes on to write. “I learned many valuable lessons and many things about myself. I had the opportunity to meet an amazing group of people — many of whom I’ll remain friends with long beyond our days of dance. I wouldn’t trade the experience for anything!”
And for those Kate Haters who thought Kate and her partner Tony Dovolani weren’t so keen on each other … well, Kate and Tony still talk regularly, according to E! Online, and are even planning a playdate for their kids.
“We talk a couple of times a week,” Dovolani told E! at the George Lopez ‘ Celebrity Golf Classic & 2010 Audi Quattro Cup in L.A.’s Toluca Lake. “Kate misses her ‘Dancing with the Stars’ family. In fact, she misses dancing altogether. That, to me, is music to my ears.”
At least there’s a little more ‘Dancing’ in their future. It was confirmed that Kate and Tony will perform together again soon. They’ll be returning, along with all the eliminated contestants from this season, for the ‘DWTS’ season finale on May 24 and 25.
