Update (Sunday): Bret Michaels’ reps revealed a bit more information about the rocker’s condition on Sunday (April 25) morning. The ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ star has been suffering from “slurred speech, blurred vision, and dizzinesss” due to the bleeding in his brain, and there has been no improvement in his condition.

“At this point Bret remains in ICU in critical condition,” reports his rep. “He is under 24 hour doctors care and supervision. We are hopeful that further tests will locate the source of the bleeding, which has still not been located.”

She continues, “As we all know Bret is a fighter and we are hopeful that once all is complete the slurred speech, blurred vision and dizziness, etc. will be eliminated and all functions will return to normal.”

Amid a slew of positive reports about Bret Michaels‘ condition, including comments from his father and a former ‘Rock of Love‘ winner, the rocker’s reps this morning to sounded a cautionary note to fans: Don’t believe everything you read about the ‘Celebrity Apprentice‘ favorite, they tooted. Not all the reports are accurate.

“There are several incorrect reports on Bret’s condition,” his rep posted online. “Bret remains in critical condition at an undisclosed location. Further tests are being run and information will be updated in the coming days.”

Though she didn’t specify which reports were inaccurate, recent updates on MIchaels include one from his father, Wally Sychak (Sychak is Michael’s real last name; Michael is Bret’s middle name), who told RadarOnline. “He sounded upbeat and positive but they had him sedated. But he’s doing good.”

And former ‘Rock of Love’ season two winner Amber Lake told TMZ, that Michaels was “awake, in good spirits and talking.”

As previously reported, Michaels has been hospitalized since undergoing an emergency appendectomy on April 12, and then on April 22, he was rushed to an ICU after suffering a massive hemorrhage of the brain. He was reported in critical condition.

.

The day before his brain hemorrhage, Michael blogged an update on Fancast, greeting fans with a casual, “Hey guys,” and then updating his recovery, explaining, “I’m feeling right about in the middle right now on a scale of 1 to 10.”

“I’m not 100% yet, but I’m sure as hell not where I was when it happened. When your appendix ruptures if feels like what it would feel if you’re on the losing end of a knife fight, so it takes a bit to recover from that.

I’m out of the post-op stuff, but I’m not officially out-out. They will release me, though. I have to get my blood sugar back in order because it’s been all over the place because every day I’ve been real active and you’re not supposed to move around yet.”

“My next move is, I may end up going to a Canyon Ranch in Tucson, Arizona or something. But basically I’m going to go home for a couple days and maybe to Tucson just to rehabilitate much quicker than being at home.”

We will continue to update official reports and hope Michaels, who has been blogging for Fancast.com about ‘Celebrity Apprentice,’ recovers quickly and continues to rock our world for a long time.
