“I had a gut feeling, and there was nothing making that gut feeling go away,” she told Entertainment Tonight just minutes after she and pro partner Tony Dovolani were cut from this season’s competition.
“I woke up this morning and I knew it was today. And it was OK,” she told EW.com. “I loved the opportunity.”
Gosselin told ET that her brood of eight kids back in Pennsylvania “will be upset” to learn that their mommy did not win ‘DWTS.’ “They will be shattered, in fact.” As such, she doesn’t plan to show them her elimination episode.
“But they’ll be glad to have me back,” she notes of her clan situated cross-country from where ‘DWTS’ tapes. “[G]oing home to my kids is always a wonderful thing.”
Fellow ‘Dancing’ star Niecy Nash shared with ET her advice for the jilted Gosselin: “Keep your head up [and] kiss all them babies. That’ll sure enough make you feel better.”
