All’s gleeful on the set of the hit TV show ‘Glee‘ – just ask star Cory Monteith, who claims they like each other, they really, really like each other!
Monteith professed his love for costar Jane Lynch, in particular recently, expressing his excitement for the wicked cheerleading coach’s real-life wedding. Lynch is set to marry longtime girlfriend psychologist Lara Embry, and Monteith says, “I’m so very happy for them … I’d love to sing at their wedding.”
He recently told ‘Entertainment Tonight’ that being on ‘Glee’ has changed his life. “It’s wonderful. It’s happening to all of us [in the cast] at the same time so we’re all trying to figure out how to navigate this new environment. We stick together. A few of the cast members live together. We really do like each other.”
He also was wowed by meeting Oprah and President Barack Obama recently but admitted to being nervous. “I was nervous meeting Oprah. I think the security was tighter there than at the White House!”
And while he’s excited for Lynch’s upcoming nuptials, he’s unattached at the moment. “I’m enjoying the single life,” he said.
Meanwhile, the much hyped episode solely dedicated to the music of Madonna finally airs this week, featuring the awesomeness that is a Cheerios Coach “Vogue”-ing (Watch Below), as well as numbers like “Express Yourself,” “Like a Virgin,” “Like a Prayer” and “4 Minutes.”
‘Glee’ worships ‘The Power of Madonna’ Tuesday night at 9/8c on Fox.
