Dancing with the Stars‘ is TV’s reigning star right now, and it just might be due to the simple fact that its stars are having well-documented meltdowns that we get to indulge in week after week.

Kate Gosselin has shed many-a-tear. Tony Dovolani has nearly quit. Aiden Turner has melted down on Edyta Sliwinska. And thrown up. And this week we saw ‘The Bachelor‘ star Jake Pavelka’s battle with partner Chelsie Hightower.

Footage revealed Jake taking a time-out during rehearsals and later confronting Chelsie over how she talks to him. “Sometimes when you talk to me you are just very, very disrespectful.” Really, Jake? Seems as if the pilot doesn’t like it when he’s not in control.

When we caught up with Hightower after Monday’s show, she didn’t downplay the drama. Rather, she seemed pretty concerned about how they’d work through the stress, pressure, and hissy fits in the coming weeks.

“Here’s what I think — he doesn’t come from a coaching background,” she explained to Fancast. “But, maybe he is too sensitive because he doesn’t quite understand.”

How is she going to handle his frustrations going forward?

“You always have to adapt to who you’re with and where they are coming from,” she says. “So I’ll try to deal with him in a way that he’s comfortable with. I need to watch to not push him too hard and how to talk to him. That’s how things will get better … I hope.”

Hightower reveals the pair will tango next week. “I think he’ll do well!”
