As anticipation builds to a gleektastic pitch for the April 13th mid-season return of Fox’s first-year ‘Glee,’ we gathered the show’s stars to chat about their favorite musical performances thus far. The third installment in the series of interviews features Dianna Agron as Quinn, Finn’s [Cory Monteith] cheerleader girlfriend with a big secret, and Mark Salling as Puck, the football star-turned glee club convert.

‘Modern Family,’ ‘Glee’ Among Peabody Winners

Dianna Agron: Quinn Fabray

Favorite Performance: “Somebody to Love”

Episode: The Rhodes Not Taken

Why Somebody To Love: We performed it at the Upfronts in New York and that was the first really, really big moment for all of us.

Behind The Scenes: It depends how long it will take. Sometimes it’s very involved, and sometimes we have ample time to go through it – for the bigger numbers. And other times, we have a day. One time I learned a dance in an hour, so it really just depends on what our schedule allows.

Most Difficult Performance: Keep Me Holding On I had to learn- I think we had between an hour and two hours. All the girls had learned it, and we shot that at a time when I was heavy in the episode and I didn’t have a lot of time to get away. We almost didn’t know if we could accomplish it – but Zach (our choreographer) is amazing and it worked.

Mark Salling: Noah “Puck” Puckerman

Favorite Performance: “Maybe This Time”

Episode: The Rhodes Not Taken

Why Maybe This Time: Well it’s a tie with “Defying Gravity.”

Dream Song: Whatever they want me to do. There are so many out there…I guess anything by Radiohead would be sweet.

Behind The Scenes: We rehearse it over and over, and then we shoot it once and it’s done. Of course, that means 15 or 20…to shoot it, because of all the different angles, actually maybe it’s more like 30 or 40 times.
