True Blood’ star Anna Paquin reveals that she is bisexual as part of a new, star-studded informational campaign for Cyndi Lauper‘s WeGiveADamn.org.

Among a series of online PSA videos featuring testimonials from Whoopi Goldberg, Clay Aiken, Cynthia Nixon, Judith Light, Eric Roberts and many others, Paquin states, “I’m bisexual” and helps detail the list of injustices endured by gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender individuals.

“One hate crime is committed approximately every hour of every day in this country,” the Golden Globe- and Oscar-winning actress says in the videos, one of which can be seen here.

In another, she follows up out ‘Sex and the City’ star Nixon’s bombshell that in many states a person can be fired simply for being gay or transgender by saying, “Imagine going to work every day and not be able to share your life with your coworkers, out of fear of being let go.”

Paquin, who in the past was linked to Kieran Culkin and since August has been engaged to ‘True Blood’ costar Stephen Moyer, has never before discussed publicly her sexuality – straight or otherwise.

Spearheading the We Give a Damn campaign is Lauper, the recording artist who for more than 25 years has been a vocal advocate for the GLBT community.

Summing up her passion to educate the masses on the injustices forced upon GLBT individuals, she says, “If one us is not equal, none of us are.”
