Sarah Palin’s new TV show hasn’t aired yet and it is already causing some controversy. Rapper LL Cool J (‘NCIS: Los Angeles‘) lashed out this week at Fox News on his Twitter account, supposedly debunking the network’s claim that he was scheduled to appear on the show.

‘Real American Stories,’ Palin’s new program on Fox News, had been billing LL Cool J, singer Toby Keith and Jack Welch, formerly of GE, as the first episode’s featured subjects. Problem is, LL Cool J says he didn’t sit for an interview with Palin.

“Fox lifted an old interview I gave in 2008 to someone else & are misrepresenting to the public in order to promote Sarah Palins show. WOW,” LL Cool J wrote on Twitter.

Following his social network outburst, Fox decided to pull the plug on the pre-recorded segment and snipe back, telling TVNewser, “As it appears that [LL Cool J] does not want to be associated with a program that could serve as an inspiration to others, we are cutting his interview from the special and wish him the best with his fledgling acting career.”

‘Real American Stories’ will air, minus LL Cool J’s appearance, Thursday night, pre-empting ‘On the Record with Greta Van Susteren.’

In other headaches for Sarah Palin, Levi Johnston is one step closer to getting his own reality show.

TLC recently announced they signed a deal to air Sarah Palin’s Alaska-themed reality show, paying her $1 million for each of the eight episodes.
