Teen queen Demi Lovato will be guest-starring on ‘Grey’s Anatomy‘ – a gig that she says represents one of her “biggest dreams” coming true.

“I’m so thrilled to announce that this week I’m shooting Grey’s Anatomy!” the star of Disney’s ‘Sonny with a Chance‘ revealed on Twitter Monday. “AHHH!”

Lovato first teased her ‘Grey’s’ visit on Sunday, telling her Twitter followers she’d be “getting up early tomorrow morning to begin a week of fulfilling one of my biggest dreams.”

The 17-year-old actress-singer added that she was “so excited… so blessed… so thankful” to be appearing on the ABC serial. “[It's] a HUGE dream of mine.”

In an episode slated to air during May sweeps, Lovato will play a patient apparently suffering from schizophrenia. Tensions will run high as the Seattle Grace docs race to find a physical trigger to her illness – especially since the teen’s uncle killed himself at a young age in the midst of battling identical delusions.

Shortly after Lovato broke the news, ‘Grey’s’ boss Shonda Rhimes herself took to Twitter to weigh in on the starlet’s drop-by, saying, “Everyone’s super excited around here.”

Demi later shared a bit of McLove from the ‘Grey’s’ set, tweeting to her fans, “Mr. Patrick Dempsey himself wants me to give a shout out to you guys! Hahahaha.”
