How To Train Your Dragon is opening in theaters nationwide today, telling the compelling story of a young outcast viking teen who longs to be a dragon hunter until he actually befriends the most feared beastie of them all – the Night Fury. How would you like a chance to watch preview clips from it in 3-D before shelling out ten bucks or more for it? Well, now you can. Fancast is now sporting a pair of videos from the film in three-dimensional form, complete with an instructional video on how to make your own 3-D glasses at home. It’s a project for the whole family and it’ll certainly keep the kids busy. Check it out!
Now that you’ve got your classic-style specs ready to go, you can check out the new movie, featuring the voices of Jay Baruchel, America Ferrera, Gerard Butler, Craig Ferguson, Jonah Hill, Kristen Wiig and Christopher Mintz-Plasse.
These clips aren’t all we’ve got, either. If you can handle dialing back down to 2D, we’ve got a whole slew of preview clips for you to check out before heading out to the theater. Watch the nerdy viking Hiccup (Baruchel) trying to feed the deadly Night Fury dragon he’s nicknamed Toothless, while trying to repair his injured tail.
And here’s another extended clip of Gobber (Ferguson) conducting the dragon-fighting class that Hiccup, Astrid (Ferrera), Snotlout (Hill), Fishlegs (Mintz-Plasse), Ruffnut (Wiig) and Tuffnut (TJ Miller) have to pass in order to earn the respect of their people, where Hiccup applies the knowledge gleaned from the previous clip to impress his fellow trainees.
