In one of the more entertaining segments on Glenn Beck’s Fox News program, the popular host addressed a recent verbal assault that came his way courtesy of ‘Avatar‘ director James Cameron.

Donning 3-D glasses while jokingly responding to Cameron, Beck said of his being called a “f*****g a**hole” and a “madman,” “The best part is, this guy has carried this joke around with him for three long years.”

As for the comment Cameron was supposedly referring to when he lashed out at Beck during a press conference, a visual slide showed what Beck had actually said back in 2007: “Anyone who got dragged to see ‘Titanic‘ or was subject to repeated playings of that Celine Dion song … probably suspect(s) what we’ve believed for years. Only pure evil could have directed that film, oh, yes, perhaps even the Anti-Christ.”

Not one to get dissed without at least throwing a verbal punch back, Beck referred to ‘Avatar’ as a “Smurf-murdering movie” and gave Cameron a bit of advice. “It’s time to walk away from the CGI for a minute, Jim.”
