Jaime Pressly has lined up what could be her first TV gig since ‘My Name Is Earl‘ went to that great trailer park in the sky.

The Emmy winner has joined the cast of the CBS comedy pilot being put together by ‘How I Met Your Mother’ creators Carter Bays and Craig Thomas. There, she will play Kyle Bornheimer’s best gal pal.

Speaking of Emmy winners, John Larroquette – a recent ‘Parks and Recreation’ guest star – has joined ‘Pleading Guilty,’ the Fox drama pilot starring Jason Isaacs (‘Brotherhood’) as a cop-turned-attorney. Larroquette will play the managing partner at Isaacs’ firm – familiar territory for the former ‘Boston Legal’ lawyer.

• Oscar winner Sissy Spacek has landed the lead in the untitled medical drama being produced for CBS by ‘ER’ auteur John Wells. In a role originally envisioned for a man, Spacek will play the visionary leader of a group of mobile medics who travel the country treating people. Upping the ante is the fact that Spacek’s character is contending with cancer/chemo treatments all the while, and counts her daughter (played by ‘Twilight’s Rachelle Lefevre) among her team.

Jennifer Beals is partnering with Jason Clarke (‘Brotherhood’) on ‘Ride-Along,’ the Fox drama pilot from ‘Lie to Me’ boss Shawn Ryan. Beals will play a police chief, Clarke a cop.
