What happens when a 76-year-old man and an 88-year-old woman get into a discussion about sex appeal? Last night’s ‘Larry King Live.’

Larry King showed his playful side with golden girl of the moment Betty White, asking “do you consider yourself a new sex symbol for the younger generation?”

“Oh yes,” White deadpanned. “Not that I consider myself that, I just have to concede the point.”

“You were a loose woman, Betty, weren’t you? Admit it,” King teased.

“I was loose,” she confessed. “Until gravity took over.”

The two went on to chat about everything from White’s new TV Land series ‘Hot in Cleveland,’ to her refusal to appear on ‘Dancing with the Stars‘ – “Cloris Leachman took care of that whole department” – to the “love of her life,” husband Allen Ludden, who passed away in 1981.

White was recently tapped to host ‘Saturday Night Live‘ (May 8th) as the result a successful Facebook campaign.
