The Booth and Brennan saga isn’t the only romance that will heat up ‘Bones‘ when it returns in April. A few new players are coming into the mix to spice things up.

As previously reported, Rena Sofer will come as Dr. Catherine Klein, a marine biologist, who dates Agent Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz). But, what we didn’t know was that her character might just be a lot like Booth’s other love interest, Temperance “Bones” Brennan (Emily Deschanel).

“It’s interesting because she’s a scientist and she’s kind of Brennan-like in terms of not having the social nuances that normal people have,” Tamara Taylor (Dr. Camille Saroyan) tells Fancast. “She’s very direct like Brennan. She is very straight forward as a scientist would be. I don’t know if the subtext is supposed to be that she is a lot like her or not, but she is beautiful and smart and that is his type.

Taylor is excited to have a new love interest her self in Elon Gold. “My daughter needs a gynecologist and he’s a gynecologist so we meet in the doctors office,” she says. “It’s wildly inappropriate because he’s my daughter’s doctor, which is a little weird. It’s definitely attraction at first sight, though. Our first date is a super casual lunch date, but it’s super sweet.”

As for the big wedding in May, the episode comes two before the finale, according to Taylor, and “it’s definitely a shock for everyone who gets married.”
