CNN might soon be providing viewers with a little opinion to go with their breakfast as the news network is developing a new morning show pilot which includes “dueling political ideologies,” reports The Wrap.

Fans of CNN’s current program ‘American Morning‘ shouldn’t get ready to bid hosts Kiran Chetry and John Roberts farewell just yet, as a network source says just because the new show is billed as a morning gig, it won’t necessarily be scheduled in the same time slot.

While CNN is “always testing new talent” and formats, says The Wrap’s insider source, ratings haven’t been stellar for the network, leading to speculation that a change up could be in the works.

Unfortunately for ‘American Morning,’ it is currently down 30 percent this year (364,000 total viewers) and is coming in second to the Fox News program ‘Fox & Friends,’ which draws more than one million total viewers, according to Nielsen.
