‘Cougar Town‘ is getting a hot musical mama.

Sheryl Crow, 47, has nabbed a role in the Courteney Cox series about women in their 40′s. She’ll play Greyson’s (Josh Hopkins) latest love interest.

The singer/songwriter will appear on multiple episodes, but an air date has not yet been set. She also recently appeared on ’30 Rock’ and has had bit parts in ‘De-Lovely’ and ‘The Minus Man.’

Crow has a two-year-old son named Wyatt and is getting back to work after being treated for breast cancer in 2006.
