PETA Takes A Dig at The Duggars

Animal rights group PETA may have just turned the Duggar clan into accidental spokespeople, in their attempt to promote animal neutering.

A new billboard for the organization reads, “Doggies multiply faster than Duggars.”

It’s set to appear in the ‘18 Kids and Counting‘ star’s hometown of Tontitown, Arkansas, as well as Springdale and Fayetteville.

“The reproduction debate’s heating up as TLC prepares to air the fourth season of its Duggar Family hit, ’19 Kids and Counting,’” writes PETA blogger, Karin Bennett. “This season, the Duggars have upped their clan-size from 18 to 19, and it has some arguing yay or nay about the ‘Duggar-style’ approach to reproduction. We say, as long as Jim Bob and Michelle are able to keep a roof over their family’s head and modern-modest clothes on their backs, there’s a far more important reproductive issue at hand.”

PETA adds: “One unspayed female cat and her offspring can create a whopping 420,000 cats in just seven years, and one unneutered male dog can father nearly limitless litters.” They say the solution is simply to “spay and neuter companion animals.”

The Duggars, who have officially changed the name of their TLC reality series to ’19 Kids and Counting,’ reveal their micropreemie Josie for the first time on a special episode airing Sunday night. Their 19th baby was born on Dec. 10th via emergency c-section, at just 25 weeks. They have a litter of nine girls and ten boys.
